Madonna posted photos on social media of some of her favorite art pieces from the exhibit and encouraged everyone to see the show.

In one pic posted to Twitter, Madonna holds up a book opened to a page with a photo of her and Michael from the 1991 Oscars. Her daughter Mercy James stands in the background.

“Holding M.J. Close to my [heart] with M.J. In the back!! …. See this show!!” Madonna writes, along with the hashtags “#nationalportraitgallery #inspiration #nostalgia #epic.”

She also posted a photo of a Keith Haring portrait of Jackson, a photo of Michael by Hank Willis Thomas and a video of her twins Estere and Stella dancing along to an MJ video.

Michael Jackson: On the Wall runs through October 21.
