Baseball makes up the local Thursday schedule with American Legion and Cal Ripken teams seeing action.
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion team will be back on the road as they compete against Rogers. The first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Mountain Home’s 12-year-olds are in Florence, Alabama, for the start of the Cal Ripken Southwest Regional Tournament. The local team will play two games Thursday to start pool play. Mountain Home meets Patterson, Louisiana, at 10 a.m., and they’ll face Biloxi, Mississippi, at 3:00.
The Mountain Home 11-year-olds will begin pool play in the Cal Ripken Southwest Regional Tournament at Petal, Mississippi. The Fury will have two games Thursday as they take on Terrebonne, Louisiana, at 11:45 and Daphne, Alabama, at 5:00.
