The headliner for this week’s Friday Night Block Party is the Kattie Laney Project. Music and activities will begin at 7:00 on the courthouse square in Mountain Home. The event is free to the public, and all are welcome.
The Kattie Laney Project is a five-member band from the Twin Lakes Area. KLP is anchored by the soulful vocals of Kattie Laney and plays a wide variety of Billboard’s top hits, ranging from the 1960s to present day.
The July 13th block party event is sponsored by Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Holy Smokes BBQ will be on hand selling barbecue, and the Baxter County Historical Society will be selling ice cream sundaes. Funnel cakes, kettle corn and lemonade will also be available for purchase from concession vendors. All attendees will have a chance to win door prizes during the bands intermission.
