ABC/Craig SjodinWho’s made the most money in country music over the past year? According to Forbes’ 2018 list of “The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities,” the answer is Luke Bryan.

The “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” hitmaker comes in at #45 on the ranking, earning $52 million from June of 2017 through June of this year. In addition to his new paycheck as a judge on American Idol, the Georgia-born singer also released his What Makes You Country album, and mounted a stadium-sized tour with the same name.

Garth Brooks comes in at #59 with $45.5 million, having wrapped his three-year world tour at the end of 2017. Kenny Chesney checks in at #87 with $37 million, which is notable, considering he scaled back his concert schedule considerably last year.

For comparison, boxer Floyd Mayweather comes in first on the list with $285 million, just ahead of George Clooney’s $239 mil. You can check out the full list at Forbes.com
