Michael Denton of Gamaliel pled guilty to drug-related charges and was given four years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
Denton, along with Tina Hylton, identified as his live-in girlfriend, was arrested in late January when officers conducted a compliance visit at Denton’s residence along Highway 101 North in the Gamaliel area. Denton was on probation from an earlier conviction at the time.
In the kitchen of the residence, officers located a small box containing various items of drug paraphernalia, including numerous smoking devices testing positive for methamphetamine.
Hylton has pled not guilty to the charges filed against her. She is due to reappear in circuit court July 19th.
