Two people were arrested and charged with various drug offenses Tuesday after officers conducted a search of a residence along Floyd Street in rural Mountain Home. Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says the residence is the home of 32-year-old parolee Daryl Matthew Krueger.

A search waiver was on file with Arkansas Community Corrections permitting officers to search the residence of the parolee.

During the search, officers found approximately one-tenth of a gram of heroin, approximately 6 grams of methamphetamine, 4 clonazepam pills, and approximately 2 grams of marijuana.

In addition, various articles of drug paraphernalia were found, including scales, syringes, and smoking devices.

Montgomery said also present at the residence was 49-year-old Michael Donald Culver of rural Mountain Home. Culver had drug paraphernalia used to consume methamphetamine in constructive possession with Krueger.

Krueger is charged with felony counts of possession of controlled substance with purpose to deliver, heroin, methamphetamine, and the Schedule IV drug clonazepam, as well as two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces a misdemeanor count of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, marijuana, with purpose to deliver.

His bond was set at $20,000, and he is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court later this month. Montgomery says Krueger shows to have additional charges pending from the Mountain Home Police Department.

Culver is charged with a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $2,500, and he too is set to appear in circuit court later this month.
