ABC/Image Group LA It’s official: Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are country music’s latest all-star couple.

Late Wednesday night, the two both shared the same photo of themselves backstage at the Opry, laughing and hugging, along with a similar message: “And then one random night at the Nashville Palace changed everything.”

Earlier in the day, Michael had all but confirmed their relationship in an interview, without going into too much detail.

He also happened to talk about one of his favorite Music City hot spots, which is located across Briley Parkway from the Grand Ole Opry in the Music Valley section of town.

“Nashville Palace,” Michael told the group of reporters at his record label. “I know that’s a different place, but I love it. It’s my tradition to go there after I play the Opry every time.”

“So, I just love it, I love going there,” he added. “I love traditional country music, that’s what my passion is, and so I love the Opry. And I love being in that whole realm of going up there and seeing all the older people two-stepping, and all the bands that go through it.”

“It’s just a cool thing,” he explained. “It’s different than Broadway, a whole different vibe. So Nashville Palace is probably my favorite place to go to.”

In keeping with the couple’s love of classic country music, Carly is set to play 90’s Night on Monday at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works, along with Brothers OsborneEaston Corbin, and more.
