The headliner for this week’s Friday Night Block Party is The Legendary Pacers. Music and activities will begin at 7:00 Friday night. Due to the threat of severe weather, the event will be moved to Dunbar Auditorium on the Mountain Home High School campus. The event is free to the public, and all are welcome.

The Legendary Pacers was formed in 1955 in Newport and has been in the music business for 61 years. The band has traveled with Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and many more pioneers of rock and roll. Members of the band include Sonny Burgess, Kern K. Kennedy, Johnny Ray Hubbard, and Bobby Crawford.

Due to the change of venue, no vendors will be available.

The July 20th block party event is sponsored by Integrity First Bank and Natural State Rod and Custom Cars of Northwest Arkansas.
