The 9th Annual “We Can Make A Difference!” Benefit Ride is set for Saturday at The Home Depot in Mountain Home. Registration is $10 per rider, and all proceeds will benefit the Backpack Food Program for Disadvantaged School Children in Baxter County. Sign-in begins Saturday morning at 8:30 and the ride will begin at 10:00. No pre-registration is necessary.

Over the event’s nine-year span, nearly $30,000 has been raised benefiting The Backpack Food Program. One of the event’s organizers, Candy Barnes, says Baxter County has a high number of children who face food insecurity and directly benefit from the program.
