ABC/Image Group LAIt’s safe to say that Lauren Alaina is “Doin’ Fine” — she just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend.
The chart-topping star and her beau, Alex Hopkins, are getting married. Over the weekend, Lauren posted a photo of herself kissing Alex in front of a lake, with a diamond ring prominently displayed on her finger. “Being yours forever has a nice ‘RING’ to it,” she wrote. “WE ARE ENGAGED. EEEK.” She added the hashtag #HoppilyEverAfterHopkins.
Alex shared the same photo on his Instagram feed, with the caption, “Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you for the first time, the future Mrs. Lauren Hopkins.”
Lauren and Alex are both 23 and have been dating since 2012. The two have clearly been thinking about marriage for some time. Earlier this year, when she told ABC Radio that Alex’s niece is her biggest fan, Lauren added of the little girl, “She thinks I’m her aunt. I’m not technically her aunt yet, but I am.”
