The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team is one win away from earning a state tournament berth after splitting their first two games in the Zone 2 Senior Tournament at Cabot.

The Lockeroom and Cabot picked up where they left off at noon after Friday’s rainout, and Mountain Home ended up losing 5-4. Ben Henderson led the Lockeroom with two base hits.

Mountain Home fared better in the next game as they defeated Batesville 5-2. Hunter Wojcik picked up the victory on the mound, and Caleb Johnson was credited with the save. Luke Dibble provided plenty of offense for the Lockeroom with a three-run home run.

Mountain Home will again face Cabot Sunday afternoon at 2:00, and the winner will advance to the Arkansas Senior State Tournament.
