ABC/Image Group LA After opening two shows for The Eagles last month, Chris Stapleton will reunite with guitarist Joe Walsh for VetsAid 2018. It’s Walsh’s second annual concert held to benefit his non-profit veterans organization VetsAid.

Walsh has tapped his band mate Don Henley, as well as James Taylor, to perform at show, which will take place on Sunday, November 11, at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

In addition to solo sets from Henley and Taylor, the bill will include a performance by Walsh, as well as sister pop-rock trio HAIM.

Tickets for the fundraiser go on sale this Friday, July 27, and all active and retired military personnel and their families can get discounts.

Walsh held the first VetsAid concert last September in Fairfax, Virginia, and the event raised nearly $400,000 for veterans’ services organizations. It’s a cause that’s near to Joe’s heart, because his father, a flight instructor, died while on active duty in Japan when the guitarist was just 20 months old.

In a statement, Walsh says, “This Veterans Day I invite you to join me and my friends to remember the men and women who have served our country and honor their sacrifice by helping us raise funds to support their essential and basic needs.”

He adds, “I invite us to come together and celebrate the things that unite us as Americans… like great music!”
