The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas has received a $6,000 grant from the Banfield Foundation. The acquired funding will allow the society to provide veterinarian medical services for low income households.To qualify for the program, individuals must provide photo identification, as well as proof of income in the form of the previous year’s tax statement, Social Security or disability statements. If the applicant meets the federal poverty level of 100 percent or lower, he or she will qualify for the program.
