A Mountain Home man, 38-year-old Dusty Wheeler, was transferred to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, after he was ejected from his vehicle following an early morning crash Sunday on Baxter County Road 793.

According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Wheeler was traveling north down a gravel grade when his vehicle left the roadway on the left side, continued down the ditch line and rolled over, ejecting him.

The report notes Wheeler was unconscious at the scene. He was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center and then transferred immediately to the Springfield medical center. A spokesperson for Mercy says Wheeler was not listed as a patient Tuesday morning.

The report notes alcohol and careless prohibited driving as contributing factors in the 1:30 a.m. accident.
