The American Idol winner begins to tear up almost from the beginning of the new clip, which captures his wedding a little more than a month ago to longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal.
“Our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be,” Scotty says, “as Gabi and I celebrated our love and commitment to each other with family and close friends in the beautiful North Carolina mountains.”
Scotty and Gabi tied the knot at Twickenham House in Jefferson, NC, in front of two hundred of their nearest and dearest.
The “Five More Minutes” hitmaker wrote his new single just two weeks before he proposed to the woman who’s now his wife.
“‘This is It’ is our story,” he explains. “We have received so much love and support from our fans that we felt it was only right to share our special day with them. We hope everyone enjoys the music video as much as we love being able to relive that day over and over again.”
