AUGUST, Ark. (AP) – Deputies are investigating after a woman was fatally shot
by her 13-year-old son – a shooting the family says was accidental.
Woodruff County Sheriff Phil Reynolds tells Little Rock television station
KATV that the shooting happened about 5 p.m. Thursday in the Maberry community,
about 55 miles northwest of Little Rock.
Reynolds says the boy’s grandfather reported the shooting was accidental. He
says the investigation is ongoing.
No identities have been released.
