The headliner for this week’s Friday Night Block Party is Mellow Mountain Band. Music and activities will begin at 7:00 Friday night on the courthouse square in Mountain Home. The event is free to the public, and all are welcome. This week’s sponsor is ASU Mountain Home.
The Mellow Mountain Band has been playing music in the area for five years. Their genres include a blend of rock, pop, country, reggae and American bluegrass. Members of the band include Mason Campbell, Mason Basford, Craig Estes and Steve Fox.
Holy Smokes BBQ will be on hand, as well as Laura’s Mexican Kitchen of Yellville, and the Baxter County Historical Society will be selling ice cream sundaes. Funnel cakes, fried pies, iced coffee and lemonade will also be available for purchase from concession vendors. Additionally, all attendees will have a chance to win door prizes during the bands intermission.
