The search continues for a man who fled a Dora area home Saturday evening when law enforcement executed a search warrant.

Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed and Chief Deputy Winston Collins told the Ozark County Times the suspect is not thought to be dangerous.

Sheriff Reed says officers know who the suspect is, and he isn’t a threat to anyone.

Collins agrees, saying he expects charges to be filed and a warrant issued for the suspect’s arrest.

The search warrant was executed on the Dora home on the Ozark-Douglas County line, after Douglas County Sheriff Chris DeGase received information from one of his sources.

Officers confiscated a variety of firearms, methamphetamine, narcotics, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The search was a joint effort by the Ozark and Douglas County sheriff’s offices, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the drug task force.
