GRAVETTE, Ark. (AP) Authorities say a 7-year-old boy reported missing in northwestern Arkansas has been found dead in a pond.
Benton County Sheriff’s Sgt. Shannon Jenkins said deputies found the boy about 11 a.m. Friday after he had been reported missing earlier in the day.
The child’s name and a suspected cause of death were not released.
Jenkins said the boy was flown to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
