SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) _ A man who was injured when his motorcycle hit a school bus is suing the Springfield school district.

The Springfield News-Leader reports 33-year-old Matthew Foreman, of Battlefield, alleges in the lawsuit that the bus driver was at fault in the May collision. Foreman was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.

The lawsuit names Springfield Public Schools and bus driver Robin Walker of Republic. Foreman says he had the right of way and the school bus crossed an intersection without looking for oncoming traffic. It also alleges Walker was driving too fast.

Foreman is seeking unspecified damages from the district.

School district spokesman Stephen Hall says the district denies any liability in the collision.
