ABC/Image Group LA Three weeks after topping the chart in the States, Dan + Shay now have their first #1 in the Great White North. This week, “Tequila” ascends to the top of the Canadian country chart, after spending two weeks on top in the U.S.
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney may be first-time chart-toppers in Canada, but they’ve already had three number ones in the U.S. They first reached the pinnacle with “Nothin’ Like Us” in 2015, before taking both “From the Ground Up” and “How Not To” to the top in 2016.
Tuesday night, they’re set to play their new single, “Speechless,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. You can watch for their performance starting at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
