Micah KandrosCountry legend Kix Brooks is hoping you’ll come to his home parish and help him save the historic Princess Theatre in Winnsboro, Louisiana.
Kix will host a two-day “Kickin’ It with Kix” fundraiser September 28 and 29 to raise money for the 1920’s-era entertainment venue.
“Preserving venues like the Princess — which bring the arts to rural communities — is more important than ever,” the Brooks & Dunn hitmaker says. “The arts inspire and institutions like this theater provide a necessary public service and a convenient, affordable location to experience live entertainment.”
On Friday, Kix will do an intimate concert at the theater, followed by a more elaborate dinner and auction at his Extension, Louisiana farm on Saturday. You can find out more about both events at PrincessTheatreInc.com.
