The Mountain Home High School golf teams got the season started with a pair of wins against Searcy Wednesday afternoon at Big Creek Golf & Country Club.
The Bombers defeated the Lions by 52 strokes, winning 354-406. Luke Jackson led the way, shooting a 75 to earn medalist honors. Chris Wehmeyer shot 92, Weston Hoover had a 93 and Ripken Finley shot 94.
On the girl’s side, Mountain Home defeated Searcy by 48 strokes, winning 263-311. Kenzie Collins was medalist with an 84, Sydney Czanstkowski shot 88, Haley Czeschin shot a 91 and Ella Brashears had a 112.
The Mountain Home golf teams host the Ultimate Tournament Monday and Tuesday at Big Creek.
