BMLGDanielle Bradbery is poised to have her biggest success on the country chart so far, as she teams up with Thomas Rhett on the new duet, “Goodbye Summer.”

“So happy this is finally out!” TR tweeted. “Thanks so much Danielle for having me be a part of this jam with you!”

Thomas Rhett is one of the co-writers of the song, along with his dad, Rhett Akins.

“I first heard this song as a Thomas Rhett demo,” Danielle explained. “Crazy to come this full circle. Grateful to create music with the people I love & share music with people like you.”

Addressing the fans, she added on Friday, “Your love for ‘Goodbye Summer’ this morning is overwhelming.”

In an interesting twist, the song first emerged as “Hello Summer” on Danielle’s I Don’t Believe We’ve Met album last December. It’s been reworked as “Goodbye Summer” for the single release, which is available to stream or download now.

So far, “The Heart of Dixie,” which made it to #12 in 2013, is the biggest hit from the season four winner of The Voice.
