Friday was a quiet day in the Baxter County and Circuit Clerk’s office for filings for municipal-level positions in the November general election.
For the first time since the filing period opened one week ago, there were no candidates submitting paperwork for their names to be placed on the ballot.
In Marion County, one filing was reported late on Thursday. James Burkhart has filed for a seat on the Flippin City Council.
The filing period closes at noon on Friday, August 17th.
