A Henderson man is in the Baxter County Detention Center accused of threatening to kill his mother. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Timothy Lively was booked Saturday morning on a felony count of first-degree terroristic threatening.

A deputy received a report from Lively’s mother Friday evening alleging he and his girlfriend were at her residence, and her son repeatedly cursed at her and began threatening her. The victim stated Lively threw a sleeping bag under her car and told her he was going to light it on fire. He then allegedly said he was going to kill his mother and burn her house down.

Lively’s mother said the couple eventually left, but he reportedly sent her a text message later Friday evening threatening to have someone assault her. The victim advised she was seeking a protective order because she’s afraid of her son.

Lively was reportedly located at his girlfriend’s residence hiding in a bedroom. While on the scene, a sheriff’s sergeant was informed by the girlfriend she allegedly witnessed the threats to Lively’s mother.

Lively is also facing two misdemeanor counts of non-payment of fines. His bond is set at $27,520, and he is scheduled to appear Thursday in Baxter County Circuit Court.
