A race for mayor of Bull Shoals is official with the filing of incumbent David Nixon. Nixon will face challenger James Rhodes in the November general election.
Others filing for municipal-level positions in Bull Shoals included incumbent council member Daryl Lindman. Diana Nickels also filed for the Bull Shoals City Council. Nickels and Richard Belt, who filed earlier, will be seeking the Ward 2, Position 1 seat. In addition, Dino Giannini filed for the Bull Shoals City Council.
In Flippin, Joe Cantrall filed for the city council, and Summer Kerwood filed for the Yellville City Council.
The filing period closes at noon on Friday, August 17th.
