CMAIf you’re looking for a slightly funkier take on Old Dominion’s hit “Hotel Key,” you should head on over to Spotify.
The ACM Vocal Group of the Year laid down an alternate version of their latest single — which is nearing the top ten — in response to fan demand.
“Our live version of ‘Hotel Key’ is a little different than the album cut,” OD explains on social media. “You guys have been asking us to record it — so we hooked up with Spotify and made it happen!”
You can check out both the Spotify Singles version of “Hotel Key” and the band’s cover of pop star Halsey’s “Bad at Love” via the popular streaming service. If you’re not a Spotify subscriber, you can listen to a short snippet of “Hotel Key” on OD’s socials.
OD will also do “Hotel Key” on Wednesday night’s annual three-hour CMA Fest primetime special. You can catch the show tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and preview OD’s performance in advance on YouTube.
Comcast Xfinity subscribers will also be able to access an exclusive On Demand version of Old Dominion’s #1 “Written in the Sand” after the show.
