Former Bull Shoals mayor Bruce Powell was among those filing for municipal-level office Wednesday in Marion County. Powell filed for the Ward 2, Position 2 city council seat. Dino Giannini has also filed for the seat.
In other Marion County filings, Heith Hogan filed for the Flippin City Council, while Lorna Goodwin and Vickie Fogerty filed for the Yellville City Council. The three are all incumbents.
Two additional filings for municipal-level positions in the November general election were reported in Baxter County Wednesday.
Incumbent Wendell “Cornell” Benkendorfer filed for the Briarcliff City Council, with incumbent Lonnie Holt filing for the Big Flat City Council.
The filing period closes at noon on Friday, August 17th.
