Parents of football players in Mountain Home will also have a parent meeting with the coaches. The 7th grade meeting is at 6:00 in the Pinkston Middle School cafeteria. For high school and junior high players, the parent meeting begins at 7:15 in the high school cafeteria.
The Calico Rock School District will host its open house Thursday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:30 at both the elementary and high schools. Seventh grade students will meet in the high school cafeteria at 6:00. The first day of school is August 15th.
The Izard County Consolidated School District has announced a district-wide open house for Thursday evening from 5:00 until 6:30. Students, as well as their parents and guardians, are welcome to attend the event and meet the teachers and administrators for the 2018-2019 school year. New student registration is open from 9:00 until 2:00 at all schools until the first day of school on August 13th.
The Salem School District will hold its open house on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 at the elementary and high schools. Salem’s first day of school is August 13th.
The Melbourne School District has an open house on Thursday. Bearkatz Academy’s open house will take place from 4:30 until 6:00. The elementary’s will be from 4:00 until 6:00. Orientation is at 4:00 in the Melbourne Elementary Gym for grades four through six, at 5:00 for seventh grade and at 5:30 for ninth grade. The high school open house will take place from 5:00 until 7:00. The first day of school is August 13th.
