Bakersfield man charged with sexually assaulting family member

A man from Bakersfield has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a female family member earlier this year at a hotel in Branson. The West Plains Daily Quill reports 45-year-old Warren Ashley Price was arrested May 23rd. The probable cause statement by Branson police says Price had deviate sexual intercourse with the alleged victim who was incapacitated, incapable of consent or lacked the capacity to consent.

The report says the girl woke up during the assault, hit Price in the head and yelled at him which woke up her mother and sibling who were sleeping in the room.

The alleged victim told police Price, a few days earlier, had expressed he wanted to touch her. She said Price had also send an inappropriate meme to her on Facebook Messenger which showed a partially dressed female along with a comment about gardening in the nude.

Price is charged with first-degree sodomy and incest. He is free on $50,000 bond. Price is scheduled to appear in court in Taney County September 4th.
