A Mountain Home parolee has been arrested on multiple charges. According to a Mountain Home Police affidavit, 38-year-old Michael Ford was arrested Friday.

A Mountain Home patrolman was on routine patrol when he observed Ford walking near a convenience store. The officer made contact with Ford in front of the store, and Ford confirmed he’s on parole with an active search waiver on file. The patrolman reportedly searched Ford’s pockets and located a metal blue container in the left pocket. The container allegedly had a baggie containing less than a gram of a white crystal substance and two separate baggies each containing nearly a gram of a green leaf substance.

Ford faces felony counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and being a habitual offender, as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana, less than four ounces). He is free on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Baxter County Circuit Court.
