A report of a domestic disturbance has led to a rural Mountain Home man’s fourth arrest on similar incidents. According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, 21-year-old Ryan Anderson was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Saturday afternoon on a felony count of second-degree domestic battery and a misdemeanor count of violation of a no-contact order.

The 9-1-1 center received a call of the disturbance at a residence on County Road 28, and while deputies were enroute, they were informed of the no-contact order against the male suspect identified as Anderson. The deputies reportedly encountered a female victim holding a blood-stained cloth to the back of her head when they arrived. The victim alleges Anderson came to her residence, shoved her into the doorway and choked her. She also stated she is pregnant.

Anderson had reportedly left the residence on foot. Deputies located him a short distance away in a business parking lot and took him into custody just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

Anderson has three prior domestic battery arrests in Baxter County since last year. He is being held without bond pending an appearance before a judicial officer.
