The Mountain Home School Board will hold its regular August meeting Thursday evening. Among the items the board will take up is authorization of the bond refund, allowing the district to refinance several bonds that could save upwards of $2.7 million.

The board will also discuss the application to the State Department of Education for six Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) days. AMI days allow students to do school work from home on days when classes are cancelled such as during winter weather.

Several other routine items are on the board’s agenda for the meeting which begins at 6:00 Thursday evening in the Mountain Home School Administration Building.
