All of the boil water orders for the Ozark Mountain Regional Public Water Authority system in Newton County, issued following a main break, have been lifted. The Newton County Times reports the boil orders were issued after a loss of pressure occurred in the system near Western Grove.
The Arkansas Department of Health says the boil orders for Jasper Waterworks, Nail-Swain, Deer, Mockingbird Hill, Parthenon and East Newton County water associations are no longer in effect after testing of the water confirms it is safe for consumption.
