The Mountain Home School Board took the next step in helping the district save over $2.7 million at its regular monthly meeting Thursday night. The board, after approving a resolution in June to get process started, voted to approve another resolution authorizing issuance and delivery of bonds to the purchaser, meaning the bonds will be refinanced at a lower interest rate, saving the school district a large sum of money according to superintendent Dr. Jake Long.
