A Gainesville man is accused of having sex with an underage girl.

Ozark Radio News reports online court records indicate 33-year-old Bryan Mohr was charged Wednesday with three counts of felony statutory sodomy and one felony count of statutory rape.

According to a probable cause statement, on August 9th, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the 44th Circuit Children’s Division about a possible sexual assault on a juvenile.

Officers from the sheriff’s office and the children’s division went to a home in Gainesville later that day to speak with Mohr, who reportedly told officers the 16-year-old girl in question had been staying at the home for about two months and denied having sex with the girl.

Another person who was at the home with Mohr and the juvenile when officers arrived reportedly said he had recently seen the two kiss in the living room, while the juvenile reportedly told the case worker that she and Mohr had sex on at least four occasions.

Mohr was taken into custody and allegedly admitted to having sex with the girl four or five times, stating that he had developed romantic feelings for her several years prior.

The alleged incidents are believed to have taken place between June 15 and August 9, according to the report.

No court date has been set, according to online court records.
