According to the affidavit filed Monday, the two were arrested following the Marion County Sheriff’s Office conducting a narcotics operation in February involving controlled purchases of methamphetamine from the two arrested late last week.
Barker is alleged to have used a cell phone on two occasions to set up the drug transactions.
The buys were allegedly conducted at Barker’s residence along Marion County Road 8096 near Summit. The undercover officer noted there were minors present during the controlled buys.
Barker and Paxton are both charged with two felony counts each of delivery of methamphetamine, with Barker also facing charges of two counts of unlawful use of a communication device. Their bonds were set at $20,000 each.
