LEBANON, Mo. (AP) – A 31-year-old Missouri teacher was given a suspended sentence in a case of sexual conduct with a student.

Ozarksfirst.com reports Elizabeth Morgan, a Lebanon High School drama teacher, was sentenced Monday to one year of suspended and two years of tracking probation with Child Protective Services.

Morgan was arrested after police became aware in early January of an investigation into a relationship between her and a male high school student.

Morgan was fired on Jan. 22.
