Crystal Sanford, whose last known address was listed in Flippin, was given 10 years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday, after pleading guilty to charges in two cases filed against her.

The 35-year-old Sanford was charged with taking clothing, medicines and other items from a home where she was staying at the time. The charges were filed in early May.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim allowed Sanford to stay at her residence for a short time and reported several items of clothing and two types of prescribed controlled substances were stolen. Sanford was arrested when she was found in a parked vehicle selling drugs a day after the thefts were reported.

The drugs being offered were of a type alleged to have been taken from the victim’s house in the theft case. Sanford was also reported to have been wearing a pair of shoes reported stolen.
