Two area women have been injured in a car crash in Southwest Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 69-year-old Jewell Clark of Diamond City and 85-year-old Elizabeth Haynes of Forsyth were taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin with moderate injuries.
The report indicates the vehicle they were in was struck by another vehicle after it failed to stop at a stop sign. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 60, one half mile east of Neosho Wednesday afternoon at 4:00.
