A new city street was given its name during the regular August session of the Gassville City Council on Tuesday. Gassville Mayor Jeff Braim says in a matter of unfinished business, the council approved the name of CC Drive for the new road on the south side of the traffic signal next to Casey’s General Store. The street named after Charles Campbell will share the intersection with Highways 62 and 126.
Mayor Braim says matters of new business included a late addition to the agenda.

The council also approved an early payoff of two loans for Gassville Police Department vehicles.
Mayor Braim adds he gave the council an update on the South School Street construction project and other items of importance.
