Exhibits for creative arts, horticulture and field crops began entering the fair Tuesday and will continue Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00. Livestock will be entered beginning at 11:00, and all animals must be checked in and in place by 8:00 Wednesday evening.

Thursday will be Senior Citizens’ Day hosted by Home Instead Senior Care from 11:00 to 2:00. During that time, lunch will be provided for attendees ages 55 and older, and bingo will be included.

The pizza eating contest sponsored by Breadeaux Pizza in Yellville will get underway Thursday at 4:00. Later that evening, the inaugural Power Wheels derby is scheduled for 6:00.

Livestock shows begin Thursday evening at 5:30 with sheep, meat goats and swine. On Friday, poultry and rabbits are scheduled for 10:00, and the dairy and beef cattle show is set for 2:00. Dairy goats are scheduled for Saturday morning at 9:00, and the calf dressin’ contest will be held an hour later.

Friday’s activities will conclude with the truck pull at 7:00, and McFarland says that is one of a few events requiring admission.
