The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund has announced it will host a free job skills and career readiness conference, Single Mothers: What Employers Wish You Knew! The conference will take place Saturday, September 15th from 9:00 until 3:00 at Duran Center B on the Northark Center Campus, located at 303 North Main Street in Harrison.
The conference will include such topics as personal branding, resume writing, networking strategies, interview coaching and more. The presenter will be certified career coach Dr. Jan McCormick. Lunch will be provided, and participants who complete the full-day workshop will be entered to win a $50 gift card.
