Country Music Hall of Fame and MuseumCountry Music Hall of Famer Emmylou Harris will be honored with her own exhibit at the popular Nashville tourist attraction this fall.

Emmylou Harris: Songbird’s Flight is set to open October 5 and run through August 4 of next year.

“From my first album, in 1975, the country music world has embraced me with open arms,” Emmylou says. “This exhibit at the Hall of Fame makes me realize once more how grateful and honored I am to be part of such a remarkable musical family.”

The exhibit will display several of Emmylou’s guitars, from her very first one to a classic Gibson given to her by her late mentor, Gram Parsons. You’ll also be able to see the elaborate Manuel jacket the Alabama native wore on her platinum-selling Trio album with Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt.

To celebrate the opening of Songbird’s Flight, Emmylou will participate in a special interview on Saturday, November 3 in the Hall’s CMA Theater.
