A Mountain Home man was given six years probation after pleading guilty to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Twenty-seven-year-old Dustin Sandoval was arrested in mid-April, when a vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped by Mountain Home police.

When Sandoval was checked through the policeman’s computer, he was found to have an active arrest warrant.

The officer reported finding methamphetamine on Sandoval. After the drug was found, Sandoval began to resist the officer, saying the drug did not belong to him. After another officer arrived and Sandoval was eventually subdued, syringes were found where Sandoval had been sitting.

Sandoval was one of three arrested on multiple charges in the April traffic stop. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Sandoval, 27-year-old Hannah Love of Gamaliel and 50-year-old Tammy Billings of Elizabeth were booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and released on bond less than two hours later.
