Merriman named Baxter County Fair Queen

The Baxter County Fair Pageant was held Saturday evening at Mountain Home High School’s Dunbar Auditorium to kick off fair week.

The honor of the 2018 Baxter County Fair Queen went to Logann Merriman, the daughter of Chad and Julie Merriman of Mountain Home. Mackenzie Drewry, the daughter of David and Jennifer Drewry of Mountain Home, was the first alternate, and Sydney Lawhorn, the daughter of Tommy and Leslie Lawhorn of Mountain Home, was the second alternate. The People’s Choice Award went to Kasady Sutterfield, the daughter of Clayton and Andria Moore of Mountain Home.

McKenzie Paden, the daughter of Matt and Michelle Paden of Mountain Home, was named the Baxter County Princess. McKenzie Tolbert, the daughter of Donny and Melissa Tolbert, was selected as the first alternate, and the second alternate selection went to Brionna Wescoat, the daughter of Jay and Jill Wescoat.

The winner of the Miss Baxter County Queen division was Marlee Shields, the daughter of Sammie and Monica Shields of Norfork. The first alternate and People’s Choice Award winner was Audrian Litty, the daughter of Ryan and Chelsea Kaye and Bo Litty of Mountain Home, and Alexia Loudermilk, the daughter of Paul and Kelli Loudermilk of Gassville, was the second alternate.

Isabella Sanders, the daughter of Steven and Danielle Sanders of Mountain Home, was selected as the Junior Miss Queen. Piper Edington, the daughter of Jeff and Carla Edington of Mountain Home, was the first alternate selection, and Jaycie Burroughs, the daughter of Jason and Candace McCoy of Gassville, was the second alternate. The People’s Choice honor went to Morgan Price, the daughter of Kyle and Angela Price of Mountain Home.

The Little Miss Queen winner was Ally Wheeler, a daughter of Dusty and Monica Wheeler of Mountain Home. The first alternate was Marlee Dewey, a daughter of Jeremy and Sarah Dewey of Mountain Home, and Chloe Wilson, the daughter of Jarret and Jill Wilson of Mountain Home, was picked as the second alternate. The People’s Choice Award was given to Lindy Lueck, the daughter of Nathan and Monica Lueck of Mountain Home.

The honor of Petite Miss Queen went to Samira Gassama, the daughter of Travis and Stephonie Ifland of Mountain Home. Rylee Jones, the daughter of Wesley and Angelica Jones of Mountain Home, was the first alternate, and Heleyna Koenen, the daughter of Jacob and Constance Koenen, was named the second alternate. Zoey Kaye, the daughter of Stephanie and Luke Spencer and Ryan and Chelsea Kaye of Mountain Home, won the People’s Choice Award.

The Tiny Tot Queen division was won by Myla Wheeler, a daughter of Dusty and Monica Wheeler of Mountain Home. The first alternate was Parker Dewey, a daughter of Jeremy and Sarah Dewey of Mountain Home, and Abigail Burkhart, the daughter Johnnie and Jenny Burkhart of Mountain Home, was the second alternate. The People’s Choice Award went to Emerie Rogers, the daughter of Matt and Ashley Rogers of Mountain Home.

The honor of Tiny Tot King went to Kash Burleson, the son of Brandon and Karissa Burleson of Mountain Home. River Johnson, the son of Bryan and Jessica Johnson of Mountain Home, was the first alternate, and Henry Wunderlin, the son of Timothy and Megan Wunderlin of Mountain Home, was named the second alternate.
