Eight outstanding transportation projects from five states, including a local project by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), have been honored at the Americas Transportation Awards competition.
MoDOT received recognition for the bridge replacement project on the North Fork River on Routes PP and CC in Ozark County following the April 2017 flooding. Construction contracts were awarded in June 2017, and construction on both bridges totaling $5.86 million was completed by early October.
MoDOT was also recognized for its $7.9 million rebuild project of Route 65.
