Hootin an Hollarin Queen named Thursday night

The 2018 Hootin an Hollarin Queen Pageant was held Thursday night on the square in Gainesville as the 58th annual Hootin an Hollarin festival got underway.

The title of queen went to Jaima DeVries, the daughter of Amanda Merriman of Gainesville. The Deputy Queen is Cheyenne Clinton, the daughter of Christie Ashmead of Gainesville. Princesses are Libby Pansano, the daughter of Michael and Melissa Pansano of Theodosia; Gracie Johnston from Bakersfield, the daughter of Michelle Sharp and Brandon Johnston; and Lily Parker, the daughter of Hank and Cindy Parker of Thornfield. Miss Sweetie Pie is Hannah See, the daughter of Eric and Chelsea See of Bakersfield.
