The Cotter School Board accepted the resignation of district secretary Angela Wagoner at its September meeting. Wagoner has accepted a teaching position with the district.
The board also reassigned Ruth Howse from paraprofessional to district secretary and voted to offer an employment contract to Amanda Underhill for the position of paraprofessional for the remainder of the academic year.
In other business, the board approved the 2018-2019 budget and the Arkansas Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
The Cotter School Board approved four petitions for transfer of students, two from Yellville and two from Flippin.
The board also heard a presentation from Karen Montgomery concerning marketing and branding.
